APPRAISAL INFORMATION, COSTS AND DEFINITION
 
VINTAGE LIGHTING GENERALLY APPRECIATES IN VALUE. We offer formal written appraisals for lighting fixtures of all kinds. Our charge for this specialized service begins at $150.00 for each item. This may increase with research time needed and the type or complexity of the pieces or situation involved; also repair estimates can be more involved, and may add $75-150.00 onto our fee.
 
The appraisal gives accurate, detailed description, any pertinent information of source (if possible) and value, quality, condition, options and fair market value retail pricing. You then receive three signed originals of the appraisal on our letterhead, good for insurance needs and your own records. Plus, if we have the item in our possession, you may have color pictures in digital and/or hard copy form for an add'l cost ($60.00 for photo-booth set-up, plus $15.00 per processed picture).
 
We have found that our appraisals and estimates help with insurance settlements, repairs, and updating values. We will be glad to help or intercede in any way we can for your benefit.
 
We do the evaluation with your pictures, or with the item in our possession. Precise dimensions and any other pertinent information you can supply with it is very helpful to its evaluation. Also, we may travel for this service to your location for an add'l fee (minimum of $200.00 extra, if local).
