Large table lamp of full-figure cherub, "Aug. Moreau" copy

RESTORED. This full-sized cherub posing with basket of flowers, is made of cast plaster and finished with its original antiqued gold-leaf. IMPORTANT: The detail on the figure is absolutely exquisitely done, right down to the extraordinary toe- and finger-nails; VERY lifelike, expertly and artistically executed. This is no light-weight copy or "knock-off" as in other copies of bronzes that are often used in lighting; it is also very heavy. A large glass-panelled lantern is mounted behind to complete a remarkable table or pedestal lamp use. Lightly cleaned, rewired, some touch-up gilt and plaster; restored minimally for complete originality and continued safe use.
